The story might be a mess, but it's my mess :) And because it's my mess, it's God's mess and He's going to help me make it beautiful!!!

Finished!

It has a pretty lame ending in my opinion, but it's finished. I can fix it later :P The first draft just needs to be written. And if it's written, it's perfect. :)

Almost 7 days ahead... 70,000 Words!

Wow! 70,000 words! How did that happen?? (aside from the fact that I spent my screenwriting time working on writing Hope Unbroken today... I just really wanted to write and was struggling to get the motivation to work on my screenplay... I'm kinda stuck and struggling on it... so I wrote a little over 4,000 words today)

So I'm making great progress! I'm working on chapter Twenty-Six currently, just 27, 28, and the epilogue! *excited squeals* I can't believe I'm almost done with book 2!! Where the heck has the year gone already??? This is just unbelievable :D

Almost 5 days ahead

At 65,814 words, almost 5 days ahead of schedule. It's going good :) Only have the chapter I'm on, three more chapters, and the epilogue to write! Getting so close!

Hopefully I'll finish way early so I can finish planning Love Unending, I'm most of the way done, just have a few details and holes to work out. Maybe I could even start writing that one early... June just got a whole lot more added to the schedule and I'm worried about getting it written since book 3 is planned for May & June. I also don't want to burn myself out though... I'll need to pray and think on it :)

As a result of my procrastination, I made up this image with the text drawn from a chapter I have written recently for Hope Unbroken. Enjoy!

Antsy

I don't remember how soon the ants-in-my-pants started with Faith Unshaken but they're already setting in for Hope Unbroken.

I'm to the point where I just really, really, really want the book done. I want it finished. The End.

It's really annoying, because I'm just so jittery and antsy and distracted and it's hard to get the words out and on the page. I wrote over 2,000 words today though, so I was still able to suffer through it. Hopefully, I can keep up my daily writing and it'll get easier. And if I can keep writing more than my quota of 1500 words, I'll finish sooner than planned. Which would be great. :)

Chapter Twenty-Two, 255 Pages, 58610 Words

Didn't get much writing done over the weekend (about 800 words, which doesn't amount to much at all). But somehow, I wrote enough today to get myself back to 3 days ahead. :)

It's progressing nicely. I'm getting closer to the Climax Sequence, so I have a better idea of what happens in the chapters, so, God willing, it'll go by in a breeze :P

I saw something about editing vs. rewriting on Pinterest yesterday. That someone's writing advice, after they'd finished their story and went into the revision stage, they started up a whole new document, and rewrote it from the ground up. They retyped every word making changes as they went. That sounds really tedious and discouraging, but I could see how that could be very beneficial.

I think after my break in July, and possibly August, I'll do my revisions on Ryder my Christian Historical book. I'll do my rewriting, revision, and editing on it, testing out my plan and system for editing to see how it works and what changes need to be made. That way when I get to editing Kingdom of the Twin Moons, I'll have a better idea of how to handle it, especially since it's three books, vs. one book.

Pray all goes well and that discouragement doesn't set in!

5 Days Straight

I've written for five days straight now! Unfortunately, that's kind of impressive. It seems in writing Hope Unbroken I've only managed to keep up a couple day streak before missing a day, even two. This is my second five day writing streak for Hope Unbroken, I've managed one other instance of five consecutive days. If I write tomorrow it'll be my first 6 day streak for this book :) And I will have successfully written every day this week! It would be nice if I write Saturday too, I'll have to see, because I work most of the day. But God has definitely blessed me and I can't wait to see what else He's got planned!

Over Half Way!

Writing was a breeze today. I wrote almost 3,000 words :D Of course, I was writing the ordeal/midpoint, so that helped, because I knew what I wanted to happen. Knowing where you're going is always helpful :P

So that makes me over half way then :) I have 205 pages and 46,716 words
